How the odds work
Every game shows a moneyline: real American-style odds (like -150 or +130) for each team. There's no bookmaker setting the line and no odds bought in from anywhere — we calculate it ourselves, from five things:
- Season record — the starting point. In soccer a draw counts as half a win, the way league tables treat it.
- Recent form — the last five results, most recent weighted heaviest. A team on a run and a team that started well then collapsed can share a record and have very different prospects.
- Home advantage — sized per sport, because it matters far more in some than others. Soccer carries the largest edge, baseball the smallest. Unrivaled gets none: every game is at the same venue, so nobody is at home.
- Who's unavailable — the injury report on each card feeds the number beside it.
- How the crowd is picking — capped, so it can never move the line more than a little. Thirty picks reach the ceiling; three early bettors can't swing it.
A negative number (like -150) means that team is favored, so you have to wager more to win the same amount back.
A positive number (like +130) means an upset, so a smaller wager pays out a bigger reward if they pull it off.
You can cancel any pending bet before the game starts. A small 10% fee applies, and the rest comes straight back to your wallet.
